Materials, locks and decoration

Material alone does not prove whole-case durability; zips, frame, corners, wheel mounts, handles, lining and seams also matter. Four spinner wheels suit smooth floors, while two-wheel designs can be simpler on uneven surfaces.

Call a lock TSA or Travel Sentry compatible only when item documentation confirms it. It can support authorised inspection but does not make the case theft-proof. Recycled-content, GRS, RCS or AWARE™ claims must state the exact item percentage and scope.

Hard cases may support a small logo, badge, engraved luggage tag or item-specific full-colour custom design. Soft panels may support screen, DTF or transfer printing and embroidery where access and material allow. Never cover a lock, zip, handle, wheel, structural rib or care label. Can the whole surface carry a custom design?

Check exact material composition, recycled percentage, scope and certification for the item. An RPET lining alone does not mean the entire suitcase is recycled.
